Where can I read an English translation of the Interview?

  2. There is no English translation available. It’s also unlikely that any will ever be made.

  3. EleganBlack says:

Can’t anyone translate it? I mean, people translated his Twitter updates before, can’t it be done here too?

  4. There is a huge difference between Twitter and actual interviews. A standard tweet can be up to 140 characters long. In Takei’s 9-page interview in Pafu, the translated version (counting spaces) would come up to just over 43,000 characters. So, that’s over 300 times as much work (not factoring in that translating becomes much more complex the longer the entire statement is).

  5. Ultimo Hana says:

    What a bummer!! T-T

Can you guys just translate bit by bit!??! Isn’t anyone else that can translate it?!?!

  6. We also don’t live in Japan, so getting the issue would be kinda expensive. We also don’t believe there is much valueable information in that interview that hasn’t been said before.

  7. Ultimo Hana says:

    If you said so…….

Im waiting for the anime!! I mean, ultimos obviously popular and all the others new sj manga have anime already. I think i heard its gonna be released next year. Wonder whos gonna do vices voice? Well i think there are english interviews in sj if im not mistaken but theyve translated the manga perfect ….

Where did you hear they were going to release an anime of Ultimo next year? I hope that’s true, that would be so awesome. If there was an anime, the guy that did Vice’s voice for the Vomic would probably be the one doing it for the anime.
