Hiharu MandainVolume 27 is finally releases in Japan. Since the announce of the 27th cover’s some days ago, rumors has said that Manta Oversoul is Takei himself. With a better quality of the overlay cover, it appears that it’s not Hiroyuki Takei who’s been featured on the cover, but a guy named Hikaru Mandain.

If you’re familiar with the Shaman King Artbook : Man Ji En, you should know that Hikaru Mandain is also credited as the book co-author. He even have a little biography on page 12, where we learn that he died in 1976. The image is actually an image of Hiroyuki Takei with some additional touching up. Hikaru Mandain isn’t a real person.
