On November 4th, the Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang Volumes 17 and 18 were released in Japan. However, there was a printing error in Volume 18 in some of the released copies. The printing error is that the toner on pages 203 and 206 is lower than the other pages and doesn’t have the glossy finish. This results in pages which have only grey tones and no solid black tones like on the other pages. On November 15th, via the official Kang Zeng Bang website, Shueisha announced that they are aware of the issue, and that for future printings, the problem has been corrected (as pictured, in Japanese). They are deeply sorry for mistake, and if anyone who has the damaged version is free to mail their copy in for a corrected version. Shueisha’s mailing address is also listed in the press release.
Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang volumes 19 and 20 will both be released on December 4th without issue.
