Some of you might know that Hiroyuki Takei went to France last summer for the Japan Expo. He held a Q&A and signed stuffs for the fans later. One of the question was about Shaman King return and Takei-sensei replied that he was drawing the ending of the serie. The final part should be one or two volumes long and be released in early 2008. Here at TGS we covered the news (only in French) and a month later Animeland (a famous magazine about anime and manga) published an interview with Takei-sensei with more details about the ending of Shaman King. As many of you already know, chapters 286 and up would be printed in the Jump SQ somewhere in march (only a speculation for now to fit with the 2 books). Many fans didn’t take that news seriously until we got a scans of a flyer from Jump Festa 2008.
