Hiroyuki Takei, Shaman King, Jumbor, and Ultimo News Source
On May 5th, Shaman King Volume 22 was originally scheduled to be released in the USA. However, this date has been pushed back until June 2nd. The reasoning behind this is unknown. Volume 23 is still on schedule for July, volume 24 for September 1st, volume 25 for November 3rd, and newly dated volume 26 for January 5th.
On May 2nd, is the USA’s official “Free Comic Book Day.” Ultimo Chapter 0 will be given out for free at local comic book stores across the USA. A poster is also included.

Actually as a whole I am disappointed. The free Shonen Jump they were giving out only included half of the original chapter not to mention some of the translations were rather inadequate (although this was somewhat expected). As for the VIZ releases, does anyone actually know why they take two months? Surely translations don’t take that long and one would think production starts and ends far before the release date or is there something else?
