Sneak Peek at the Mentalite [Updated]

On June 4th, the final Shaman King fanbook, the Mentalite (formally referred to as Mantarite prior), will go on sale. This volume will have an OS cover like the previous Kang Zeng Bang volumes. It will be sold for 1567yen, with an ISBN of 978-4088748221.

This fanbook will contain 10 pages of full color Shaman Files. This is 6 more pages than normal, and totaling up to 29 new files. There will be a full poster pull out. One side will contain EVERY Shaman File (or at least an image of each character and spirit), and scaled correctly for their size. The other side will have a poster of other info.

There will be two new chapters in the volume. One of the chapters will feature Hana (teenager) and Anna (adult) training.

New SK KZB Fanbook: Mantarite info

Some new information about the third Shaman King fanbook was released in Japan last week. The first came from a Weekly Shonen Jump ad, which can be found to the left. This also advertises the final Shaman King volume, 27, which came out last weekend. Some additional information was also included in the final “The Last Words” insert in the Kang Zeng Bang volume (not to be confused with chapter 300, titled, “the Last Words.”).

Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang Fanbook: Mantarite

Announced on the official Japanese Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang website today was a new Shaman King Fanbook. This fanbook will be entitled “Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang Fanbook: Mantarite.” It will be released in Japan on June 4th. No other information is currently listed at this time about the book.

However, also on the website, you can send a personal message to Takei using their online form. The best messages will be selected and inserted into this new Fanbook. To send a message follow these steps:

Prior to the Mantarite, there were two additional books released in Japan. The “Man.Ji.En” and the “Fanbook.” The Mantarite is not a reprint of either of these books, but instead a brand new release. As we get more information about this new book, we’ll update you!
