After concluding in Shonen Jump and the release of volume 6 in the US, any information on when the next volume of Ultimo would be released was unknown. However, the release date for Ultimo volume 7 in English by Viz is now set for August 7th, 2012 (8/7/12). It will remain at it’ current MSRP of $9.99. It’s ISBN-13 number is: 9781421542638 and ISBN: 1421542633. There is currently no cover art released for this volume yet for the English release.
New Ultimo Volumes in Sept. for America, Japan, & Spain
On September 2nd, the 7th volume of Karakuri Dôji Ultimo (機巧童子ULTIMO 7巻) will be released in Japan. It is expected to have four chapters in the volume, chapters 26-29 of the Ultimo story. It will retail for 460 yen. The cover of the volume has not been released and will mostly surface towards the end of the month.
Four days later on September 6th, the 6th volume of Karakuri Dôji Ultimo will release in the United States by Viz Media. It will cost $9.99USD and have an ISBN of 1421541211. This will be the first volume that will contain new Ultimo chapters since it’s cancellation from Viz’s monthly Shonen Jump magazine. Right now there is no announcement of when volume 7 may be released in English. However it will most likely be between December 2011 and February 2012. The image of the cover of volume 6 of Ultimo is posted on the left.
Also, volume 3 of the Ultimo manga will go on sale in Spain in September. There is no exact release date for this volume and a finalized cover has not been released. It will sell for 7.95 Euro.

Reprint Volumes 7 & 8
On June 4th, the next wave of reprint volumes will be released in Japan. Volumes 7 and 8, as listed below, are the two volumes to be released on this date. It is expected that Volume 7 will contain “Last Word Vol 4,” and both volumes to contain new Shaman Files. There has been no new updates on any additional extras in these volumes.

With the annoucement of Volumes 7 and 8, a pattern is begining to develop among the characters featured on the covers. It has become a trend that a male will be on the odd numbered covers and female on the even numbered covers. Volume 8 does have Faust (male), but it also features Eliza on the cover (female). There is also more male characters than female characters, so this trend will most likely not continue through out the entire 27 volumes. However, it is safe to predict that the next two volumes will feature these shamans:
Volume 9: Chocolove (with Mic)
Volume 10: Lyserg (with Morphine, who is female)
With both of these shamans, team The Ren would be completed, and would cover the primary cast. For volumes 11 and 12, Marco and Jeanne appear to be likely candidates. But neither Volumes 9 & 10, nor 11 & 12 have been proven to be correct, but judging on the current pattern, this seems likely.
